Journey to Happiness

For the sustenance of the healthy life we need air, water and food. Apart from that we require compatible environment and each other’s support. Along with all these we require Happiness the most important necessity of our lives. And this requirement varies according to each human being.

The nature of human being is such that it always wanders for the real Happiness of life. The eternal always quest for the real Happiness. Happiness basically comes from within. Look at the kids they find Happiness in anything, which may be very usual for others, and does not hold any value, but as we grow old, we bind ourselves with so many materialistic things, and what we don’t have, and forget to enjoy what we possess.

We spend our whole life in finding Happiness what really matters. Sidestep all the stress from our life and realise what makes us really happy can help us finding the Happiness. As we all know throughout our life journey from childhood, we hear about happiness and assume we are happy. Our teachers, parents, colleagues keep saying that we should live happily but still we find ourselves on the path of unhappiness, conflict and indulge in negative thoughts. We keep saying in public that we should live happily. Theoretically, we all know the impact of happiness but, still, we are not able to achieve the same. Any act by which you create happiness, it is happy moments for yourself and your loved ones.

It has been experienced in many cases where people do not know how to handle the negative situation. They expect things to happen according to their own interests and wishes, but it is not feasible.   In today’s fast life in which we aim to eat, make money, have shelter and self image, have become the priorities of our life.
A child brought up without proper guidance and knowledge to achieve happiness and deal with the negative situations will be lost. With our busy life schedules, we are rigid in our thought processes and forget the basic tools of handling our emotions. The human mind is distinct from the animal mind. Human emotions are full of thoughts when compared to animals.

Aim: First, establish an objective that we must aim to be happy in all conditions.  As the sun gives light, our existence is for happiness. We must establish in ourselves what we want to achieve. Now,no one wishes to live with misery, anger and jealousy. Our clear thoughts and aim guide us at every stage of our life about what we want.

Tuning of your mind: First of all, decide in your mind: “what do I want?” If this is done, our emotions will form accordingly as emotions implicate our deeds. Write in a special note book clearly outlining step-by-step that what you want. While writing please mention how much we can move and our limitations in mind. Once you have written in the note book, make a habit to read it regularly.

It helps to condition our mind and improve our internal emotions. Other tools are meditation, Pranayam, Yoga and Good Companions. Meditation helps to release your past deeds which become an obstacle in path of your achievement.

When you are happy you will see others are happy. You will be blessed in happiness.

We should have the feeling that we are blessed. Once we realise the feeling of blessed, then all complaints disappear, all insecurities evaporate and feeling of unloved dissolves.
